Driveshaft Guards

 

Application Engineering can provide a vast array of driveshaft guards, whether protecting the operator from flying debris, or just safeguarding the lab.   AEI driveshaft guards are constructed using heavy-duty materials.   These heavy-duty weldments are fabricated with structural steel, sandblasted and painted safety yellow.  .Although Application Engineering offers some standard units, many are sized and shaped per individual needs.  Options can include, adjustable height, tilting feature, or even telescoping capabilities.

 

Standard Guards:

9926DVSHGD Guard-driveshaft
This unit is a basic unit and most units are developed from the driveshaft/torsional coupling combination
9" x 9" x 26" Lg.- Double hinged, folded 3/8" steel plate unit designed to accommodate the driveshafts with a +/-1½-degree slope. This unit includes the adapted riser to adapt to the base or bedplate. Also included is a wooden driveshaft support and the entire guard is sandblasted, primed and painted with safety yellow epoxy paint
