Torsional Couplings ( Voith Kusel)

Torsional couplings/driveshafts are required in most engine/dyno applications.  They are needed within the operational range of use to dampen the firing pulse of the engine connected to an inertial mass of the dynamometer.  These couplings not only increase driveline stability, they also provide a fusible link in the driveline in case of failure.  This fusible link protects not only your engine, but also your dyno.  They are offered in many different formats and are sized based upon application.
